Petra Kvitová and Mattoni: Two Czech Icons Announce Partnership

Petra Kvitová, one of the Czech Republic’s most successful tennis players, currently 8th in the WTA Tour rankings, is now an ambassador of renowned Czech mineral water Mattoni. As part of the long-term partnership, Mattoni will be Kvitová’s official water.

„Mattoni mineral water has its natural place in sport. We see our partnership with Petra as a collaboration of two Czech icons, who are representing the country’s success both at home and abroad. That’s why we’re truly proud of being able to work alongside Petra and support her future career endeavors, “ says Alessandro Pasquale, the CEO of Mattoni 1873.

Petra Kvitová has worked her way up from a regular girl from Fulnek, a little town in Silesia, to one of the world’s top tennis players. She is currently one of the country’s most internationally successful athletes.

„I’m looking forward to collaborating with the new Czech partner. I’ve always liked both the Mattoni brand and their image, which is why I’m happy to be an ambassador for their mineral water. The scope of our partnership goes beyond the borders of tennis courts and the Czech Republic. After all, tennis and proper hydration are globally relevant. I’m positive the partnership will be mutually beneficial,“ says Petra Kvitová.

In case of both Petra Kvitová and Mattoni, the success stems from family and hard work.
Mattoni mineral water is the basic and oldest pillar of the Mattoni 1873 beverage group, presently the largest non-alcoholic drink distributor in Central Europe, whose roots go back to 1873 and to its founder Heinrich Mattoni, a Karlovy Vary native.

“Our group, with the Mattoni brand at the forefront, successfully expands on its founder’s heritage and exports this success, in the form of international acquisitions as well as transferring know-how, abroad, where it strives to represent and maintain the good name of the Czech Republic. That’s one of the reasons we support Czech organizations and events with considerable international significance, such as the Czech EXPO pavilion, the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, or the RunCzech running race series. Now, Petra Kvitová joins the ranks,” sums up Alessandro Pasquale.
